Dear Ask The Doctor: I had my hair colored professionally yesterday and bleach was used (I have never had bleach used on my hair before), now I have blisters and scabbing and a very 'tight' scalp. Should I be going to the doctor or can I treat this at home. The pain is minimal now, just sore to the touch, but the tight feeling is very uncomfortable. Is there something I can do now to help it? Thank you. Dear Tara: I would suggest applying some soothing lactocalamine lotion or mosturising lotion on the area and keeping a watch on the same. Keep the area hydrated and in case it doesnt get better or gets worse I would advice you to see your physician sooner than later. |
