Suddenly, the graph has started bleeding and leaking a yellow liquid in one spot, what is this and is it infected? Dear Danielle: It is unusual to develop complications so long after surgery. Nonetheless, it is possible for the graft to become infected. The symptoms you describe certainly suggest an infection.
