Dear Ask The Doctor: 25y male I have a hard lump on my elbow. No injury I know of. It is non-tender, non-mobile, and very firm (feels like bone). What could this be? Should I be concerned about bone cancer? Or is it more likely a rheumatoid nodule or could it be a spur?? What tests should I have done. I have no insurance? Thanks
Dear Traci: All those questions can be answered if you get the corresponding imaging studies of your elbow, to do so, I advise you to get an appointment with your PCP or an orthopedic surgeon in order to evaluate your case properly. |
