Dear Ask The Doctor: Hi i have had some blood test done for ovarian cancer and it was clear does this mean i can be free of worry Dear Lisa: You might probably had a CA 125 blood test done which is a protein made by your body in response to many different conditions. Many women with ovarian cancer have abnormally high levels of CA 125 in their blood. If there is history of cancer in your family and most importantly your signs and symptoms, your doctor might probably want to confirm it with some more tests such as a CT scan MRI and follow up visits.
