So my question is can i still get pregnant even though i had leukemia? Dear Maya: It will depend on what kind of leukemia you had and the kind of treatment you went through. Most drugs used to treat leukemia can affect fertility. There is a ~40-50% chance you will have difficulty conceiving, but then again, it will depend on the regimen used, the dose and the duration of the treatment. You can ask your doctor what kind of regimen was used that time. I do hope I have appeased your concern and take care always. |
