Chest pains in 16 year old with asthma

Dear Ask The Doctor: Im 16 and i have chest pains or what can at times seem like heart pains. I do have ashtma but i know thats not it , ive had asthma since i was born an it hasnt ever been this bad . my pains have been going on for a couple months now . An example of what i thought the worst heart pains ive had is what felt like a shock from my heart to my neck veins it was quick an painfull i almost wrecked. other times will be chest pains that last up to one min to one hour that feel like severe pressure an it will end in shoulder pains. what could this all be??

Dear Adianna: There are many factors it could be and without examining you in person maybe hard for me to diagnose. I suggest making an appointment with your family doctor to get some tests done.
