Dear Ask The Doctor: I have bilateral carpal tunnel but my shoulders are very limited they are in severe pain do my shoulders have anything to do with my hands or visa versa Dear Lynn: Sometimes a carpal tunnel syndrome may coexist with cervical spine problems or rotator cuff problems as well. In your particular case these two entities must be ruled out and treated. I suggest to have an evaluation by a Orthopedic Surgeon. |
