Dear Adrianna: From your description, there seems a possibility of thoracic outlet syndrome - a condition in which, the narrow space between your collarbone (clavicle) and your first rib that contains blood vessels, nerves and muscle is further narrowed, may be due to injury, obesity, poor posture or certain disease conditions, leading to increased pressure on these structures and related symptoms. Xrays, MRI or CT scan may further help in the assessment of the condition. Treatment usually involves physical therapy, anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, naproxen etc. and weight loss (if you are overweight).
