Dear Ask The Doctor: If im around a 18 month old child who has chickenpox and i had them when i was little am i able to visit a patient in icu? Dear Tina: You can visit the patient in the icu as you are not infected or infective even though you were around an infected child since you have already had chicken pox and thus are immune. All the best. |
