Dear Ask The Doctor: I'm the mother of a 4 yr old little girl who by all appearances is happy and healthy. She eat well and makes healthy food choices. I don't know anything about her biological fathers family medical history, and recently shes been having moderate joint pain in her elbows and knees, and nausea, and now shes losing hair by the handful. She also gets nosebleeds rather easily. Her doctor doesn't have any openings until next month, what could be wrong with her?
Dear Kristin: Unfortunately from what you have described there could be a bunch of factors. The only thing i can think of for her hair is ringworm. I would let my doctor know that you are concerned and try and get an appointment sooner than later so they can do some tests. |
