Do I have Polycystic Kidney Disease??

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have had constant water infections,i have alot of cysts on my kidneys they are not solid.i suffer in constant pain with this it gets unbearable at times,and i need some advice about what could be causing this constant pain.so all i want to know is,can my doctor be on the right track as he said it sounds like i have got Polycystic kidney Diesese, could this be right?
