Dear Ask The Doctor: Can I get a cold sore after drinking after someone that has a cold sore? Ther cold sore was dried up and she has had it for a few days. I never had cold sores before and I have a 7 week old baby so now I am wondering if I can kiss on him? Dear Shatyia: If you drank out of a unwashed glass that had the persons saliva on it, the possibilties are high that you could contract it. I would refrain from kissing your child for a little bit. |
