Dear Ask The Doctor: I just took stool softens ,can I also take milk of magnesia? Dear Veronica: Taking stool softeners and milk of magnesia at the same time could lead to severe loose stools. I would suggest that you first try the stool softeners and if they don't work switch over to an alternative treatment. I hope this helps, take care. |
