Hypertensive having a Constant Cough?

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have a crippling cough that comes and goes anytime. I lose bladder control. I choke and cannot catch my breath. I experience bad pins and needles in my chest, arms and legs. Lots of fluid.
Dear Robin: I can understand that problem that you must be going through. The most common cause of cough is an infection of the lung by either viruses or bacteria. Though in your case it could be because of the medications you may be taking for the high blood pressure.
If the cough gets worse or it gets difficult to breathe, you must see a doctor as soon as possible as it may be due to collection of fluid in the lungs. |
