Dear Ask The Doctor: I have had diahoreaa about 6 times a day for last 4 days. sgould i see docotr or wait to see if it goes anyway Dear Shirley: Diarrhea usually stops within 2 days of its onset. If your diarrhea does not stop or reduce in frequency in 2 days, you should see a doctor for treatment and get a stool and blood test done. The diarrhea may be due to an infection and may require some antibiotics to treat this infection. Maintain your fluid intake via oral rehydration solution to replace the loss of water and electrolytes from the body. |
