Dear Ask The Doctor: The topic i need is not in your list. My Question. For the last year i have been having abdominal pain, diahrea, vomiting, and recently bloody stool and bloody urination, i have been hospitalized seven times and all of my tests are normal every time. what could possibly be wrong, i have had colonoscopies with tissue biopsies, endoscopies, ct scans and x-rays. my gall bladder has been removed can you please help me Dear Marcus: The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to various conditions like ulcerative colitis or chrons disease ,a parasitic infection, a diverticulitis or a bleeding disorder or irritable bowl syndrome.Since even after doing all the extensive testing there has been no abnormal report it may point towards irritable bowel syndrome. You need to monitor when the symptoms are occuring, whether there is any relation to certain types of food, and also rule out any innate blood clotting disorder that you may be having. You can treat this in the mean time symptomatically by taking gravol for the vomitting and usin anti diarheals for the loose stools that you have been experiencing. I hope this helps.All the best. |
