Dear Ask The Doctor: I am 25 and for the past 2 weeks I have been having dizziness lasting most of the day. A rapid heart beat around 140 a couple times a day and nausea and vomiting. I have been to the ER twice and seen my regular doctor and psychiatrist... No Vit B deficiency, panic attacks as I have panic attacks and this is not it. Not pregnancy. BP is normal and all my blood work checked out. Dear Breanna: The current medications you are on may produce these symptoms. You should try to note the onset of the symptoms and its relation with your current medications. Also, while on medications like zoloft, you should try to avoid or limit your alcohol intake because it may cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache etc. due to their interaction and additive effects. |
