Dizzyness and fast heart rate, what could be the cause?

Dear Ask The Doctor: Most nights now i feel dizzy and lightheaded,sweaty and have a very fast heart beat,even if i lie down feels like am spining and can feel my heart beating really fast?

Dear Richard: Dizziness and lightheadedness are very non-specific symptoms and may be caused to various conditions. They can be because of anxiety stress, BPPV, anemia and any abnormalities in the rhythm of the heart. I would suggest you to wait and watch for the symptoms to subside and if not improving visit you family doctor.
