Dear Ask The Doctor: Would triancinolone cream 5% ever be prescribed for itching, red, swollen eyelids? Dear Jan: Though triamcinolone can be prescribed for itching and red eyelids, a 5% dose is too strong. A weaker steroid with 0.1% triamcinolone can be used on the face and eyelids. |
