Dear Ask The Doctor: I had a fall 48 hours ago and I have a constant headache since then. It is continuous and throbbing, and hurts especially when I lie down. Should I see a doctor? Dear Conor: Any injury to the head, especially after a fall should be assessed by a medical doctor within 24 hours. If there is any symptoms of dizziness, vision problems, new onset numbness or tingling, nausea or vomiting associated with your headache, please go to your local ER. |
