Headaches that come and go, about a month now.

Dear Ask The Doctor: Hello i have been having these headaches and i have been told three things they could be. 1:Neck muscles are tight. 2:Stress. 3:Staring At this computer screen. But all those things are adding up on me. i almost sit in the same position all day, i play on the computer, and i get so scared about things. its only at this one spot but it doesn't hurt to bad. it's just noticeable. But it all started after may 21st when the world was supposed to "end". the next day was fine i was playing video games all day. the next day i have burning headaches off and on all day. the next day, i am extremely tired but the headaches aren't as bad. And They been off and on for so long now i have no clue whats wrong. please help. but the thing is even when i am not stressing looking at a screen or active i kinda still have them but there not as noticeable.

Dear Luis: Sitting on computer all day puts extreme stress on you neck muscles. You may not even realise the times when you would be stretching your neck forward to concentrate more in your games or computer work and forming a bad posture. These pains feel better with rest and anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, naproxen etc. Continuation of stress on muscles without adequate healing time, may lead to worsening of the condition. You may opt for physical therapy for relief.
