Dear Ask The Doctor: I had heart attack in 2002 had stent put in recently having burning sensation in left side of neck any ideas if it is related heart problem Dear Paul: You do not indicate when the stent was put in and when the burning sensation started. In either case, a burning sensation in the neck is not a typical symptom of heart disease. I would be more worried if you indicated the burning sensation had a predictable pattern of occurring only with exertion related activities. |
