Dear Ask The Doctor: Approximatley how long after beginning Lisinopril?Hydroclorothyazide and Coreg with a MUGA of 32 percent should I have my Automatic Cardiac Implantable Defribilator procedure done. I have only been on the new medications for a week replacing my old Lopresssor. I am a realtively new heart patient 49 years old and have only been a heart person for about four months now. I'm just trying to do research and get prepared for all that will come my way.
Dear Leo: As long as your condition is stable and you do not have any emergent issue to deal with your cardiac defibrillator surgery can be performed. There is no specific time period which is suggested and it usually depends on the condition and severity of the patient. All the best. |
