Painful intestine and heart burn

Dear Ask The Doctor: Im experiencing heartburn with pain on my left side around the area pf my intestin,from my chest to my navel area. The pain has become, intense,lasting all day.,every day. Please help if you can. Im a working mom paushing myself.

You may want to see your doctor for an early treatment of your symptoms. You may try taking the available OTC medications like Prilosec, Pepcid, Gaviscon, Peptobismol etc. for the relief of pain. Increased your water intake and avoidance of spicy and fatty foods may help in the prevention of your symptoms.
