Dear Ask The Doctor: I have a hernia near a scar on my abdomen my oestion is that am starting to get pian and feeling sick to my stomach and real bloted cant have a bm what should i do plus my legs are swelling up do you think i need to got to hosiptal or dr office Dear Eilleen: It is possible that you may have an incisional hernia. This type of hernia develops at a surgical incision and behaves just as other hernias do. You may have also developed a complication of hernias called incarceration which is a medical emergency. You should see your doctor as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis and recive the appropriate treatment. |
