Dear Ask The Doctor: I have undergone herniorrhaphy last march 11, 20111. I work as a nurse. When is the right time for me to resume ???? It was a MESH Herniorrhaphy... Dear Frederick: A two week period of rest is more than sufficient time to recover from mesh herniorrhaphy. You should still avoid heavy lifting until at least 6 weeks following surgery. |
