Dear Ask The Doctor: I am a 27 white male with no family history of medical problems or hernias. I have an almond shaped and sized protrusion located on my groin next to my left scrotal sack. It has grown in size over the past two weeks and is increasingly painful. It is not discolored and I have performed no strenuous activity. Could it be a hernia or something else? What?
