High blood pressure Medication and Calcium

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have been taking 1500mg of coral calcium along with high blood pressure medication that contains calcium channel blockers. I just learned there is a conflict with this. Would this combination have lessened the effect of my blood pressure medication?

However, there's no evidence that oral calcium supplements interfere with calcium channel blockers.
