Dear Ask The Doctor: Hallow well from last two year i had a problem a problem with my blood pressure last year my pressure is nearly 94 to 150 hight and normal range is 92 to 94 and upper 125 to 145 on that time my doctor didn t tel me for taking medicine but this year the problem goes up my lower bp is nearly 100 on range and upper one is nearly 160 hit so my doctor advised me for taking alodipine 5 mg a day i am taking for 3 months but my lower pressure is still up 98 so what to do i visited physician also but he still give me that amlodipin tablet so what to i am still trying for loss some extra pound also and doing exercises regularly ' please advised me
Dear Ritesh: You are doing the right thing in reducing weight and exercises, because that will make a difference eventually along with the medications. Additionally you should try to quit any smoking or alcohol habits that you may have, reduce the salt and fat consumption in your diet, |
