Sick so much after Burkitt's Lymphoma

Dear Ask The Doctor: My son had Burkitts lymphoma and has been cancer free 16 months but the last 3 months he has been sick with flu colds sore throat. Just can't seem to get over anything. He is 21 and stuborn should I be notifying the cancer clinic? Should I be worried?
