Dear Ask The Doctor: I researched google and found out about "Jock-Itch", I suspect that the rash in my groins are really what they call the Jock-Itch, is there a Natural Remedy that is very effective in curing Jock-Itch including the food that we intake? I prefer natural rather than ointments. The skin in my groin is reddish and differ from the color of my normal skin. The skin is always disturbing my sleep every night and I can't sleep well because the itchiness is unbearable.
Dear Etsuya: Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that affects the skin of your genitals, inner thighs and buttocks. Jock itch causes an itchy, red, often ring-shaped rash in these warm, moist areas of your body. Keeping your groin area clean and dry and applying topical anti-fungal medications usually are sufficient to treat jock itch. Unfortunately I do not know of any herbal/natural medication that will help cure jock itch. |
