Dear Ask The Doctor: I developed eosinophilic esophagitis after taking accutane. Is it possible that the accutane is what caused this condition? Dear Kelley: Eosinophillic esophagitis is an allergic inflammatory condition of th eesophagus. It is related to allergies to certain foods such as cows milk, soy and eggs. It is not known to be related to Accutane. |
