Dear Ask The Doctor: My daughter has been prescribed mylan clarithromycin for acne on her face. Can she have her eyebrows waxed while on this medication? Dear Sally: Yes there is no contraindication to waxing the face while on clarithromycin. However I would advice delaying the waxing till the acute acne lesions have settled down as the waxing can make the skin tender and more susceptible to infection. All the best. |
