Dear Ask The Doctor: Is it common for a 7 yr old child to suddenly develop an allergy to tree nuts when he has been eating them for years ? Dear Hunter: Yes this is very common that children can develop allergies to tree nuts such as cashews, almonds, pecans and walnuts later on in life. I would suggest seeing your family doctor or pediatrician to get an allergy test done. |
