Dear Ask The Doctor: I have been using formonide 200 inhaler for 4-5 years. I have been smoking for a year. will smoking worsen my breathing problem? Dear Abhijit: Cigarette smoking is associated with evidence of airway obstruction and deterioration of lung function. Smoking will only make your breathing problems worse. I would suggest that you refrain from smoking in view of your respiratory ailments. Take care. |
