Dear Ask The Doctor: Hello my name is chris lane and i was born with CAHD salt wasting form it causes a lot of problems for me as well do my ongoing permanent medication(dexamethasone, and fludrocortisone) the chronic pain and dizziness have always been apart of my disease and I am desperately seeking to find out if I would qualify for medical marijuana.
Dear Christopher: I first off want to say that i am sorry to hear about your pain. Its very difficult to go through something like this and you must be a strong person and I hope you feel better as time goes on. As with medical cannabis, you would need to qualify for it. The only way this can be done is by seeing a doctor in your area to see if he can get you the go ahead for a certain amount for personal possession. He will be able to let you know if it is infact a good idea and safe for you to take it. |
