Penicillin with Paracetamol

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have been prescribed peniccilin VK, 250 mg, to take two tablets 4 times a day, my question is what is the shortest duration between each time I have them e.g. every 4 hours or what? Also can peniccilin VK be taken with paracetamol? Thanks in advance

Dear Barry: Penicillin should be taken every 6 hours.  It can be taken with paracetamol as long as you do not have a drug allergy.
