Osteophytes in Neck |
|
Dear Ask The Doctor: Doctor told me today that I had chicken Beak of the vertebrae of the neck. What does that mean Dear David: Your doctor probably meant to tell you that you are having degenerative bone changes in your cervical spine that are producing bone spurs called “Osteophytes”, which look similar to a “chicken beak” at the X rays imaging. It is a form of arthritis and should be treated in the same way. |
