Dear Ask The Doctor: I need to have cervical fusion surgery. Should I have a orthopedic spine surgeon or a neurosurgeon do the procedure? Dear Linda: Both groups of surgeons are equally capable of competently performing this procedure. However, an orthopedic spine surgeon may have more experience in such a procedure. |
