Increased thirst, hunger,urination.. Diabetes??

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have an increased thirst, hunger and urination, do I have diabetes?

Dear Demi: There could be a possibility of diabetes, of which thirst, hunger and frequent urination are a common symptom. You may get your fasting blood sugar tested for confirmation. With a positive family history for diabetes, you might as well follow up regularly with your doctor to help early diagnosis of the condition and treatment.
