Dear Liam: There are few conditions that present with testicular pain; trauma, infections and testicular torsion. Torsion (twisting of the spermatic cord resulting in death of the testicle) is unlikely in someone your age. The most likely explanation of your pain is an infection which can be easily treated with antibiotics. You should see your physician for confirmation of the diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Very rarely does testicular cancer cause pain. |
