Vaginal discharge and burning micturation

Dear Ask The Doctor: For 24hours now every time i pee my vagina stings really badly for about 5 mintues afterwards. Also noticing a creamy fluid discharge during pee'ing and sometimes standing up.

Dear Brooke: According to your symptoms, you may have a urinary tract infection or cervicitis. I would suggest that you see your doctor for a urinalysis and a microscopical examination of the discharge. You will definitely need antibiotics depending on the type of infection.
