Dear Ask The Doctor: : I have extreme stomach pain when I eat eggs or bananas. I had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones yet I still get this pain. What could be the problem?
Dear Maria: There are numerous conditions which could explain your symptoms including peptic ulcer disease, adhesions, dysfunctional bile ducts. This list is not exhaustive. It is best to see a general surgeon about your symptoms so that he/she may begin the necessary investigations to identify the problem. |
