Dear Ask The Doctor: For the past 2 days I have pain in my Right lower abdomen and some nausea. I have been getting out of breath a bit easier. The pain has been constant and hurts more when I mover. Any IDea of what this is?
Dear Nikki: There could be several causes of pain on the lower right abdomen. It may be caused due to appendicitis, muscular strain, constipation, diverticulitis, crohn`s disease, endometriosis. pelvic inflammatory disease or an ovarian cyst. Try to see if over the counter painkillers help relieve the pain. However if your symptoms worsen, you may need to be seen by your doctor. Blood word and imaging studies may be required for a diagnosis. |
