Pain and tingling in ankle and foot

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have pain in the top of my foot .When i sit or drive then get up to walk. the pain is severe . i also have pain in my ankle .also tingleing in my ankle.

You mentioned in the antecedents that you have Degenerative disc disease, and then possibly the pain and tingling in your foot and ankle might be due to a root nerve compression produce by Degenerative changes in your spine.
