Fever during the Night |
|
Dear Ask The Doctor: I'm having mild fever during the night and it goes off during the day. May i know what have caused the fever. So far no medication taken except panadol and water. It's been that way for 8 days up till now. Please advice. Dear Janson: You should note for any other symptoms, than the fever, that may provide a clue of any source of infection such as urine infection, cold, cough, sore throat, viral or bacterial infection. Tuberculosis is the most common cause for low grade fever during the nights, and its associated symptoms include swollen or painful glands in the neck, groin or armpits, any change in the bowel habits, cough, sweating, loss of weight, chest pain or discomfort. You may want to see your doctor for further analysis in your case.
