hCG as supplement to testestorone replacement therapy

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have been on testosterone replacement therapy for about 8 months at 200 mg every 2 weeks. The doctor moved me up to 300mg every 2 weeks starting today. I am only 22 so I was wondering if it would be smart to talk to her about HCG, and I was wondering if it really helps in preventing atrophy in the testes? Thank you!

hCG is used as a supplement in testosterone replacement therapy, which means it will add to the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy by increasing natural production of testosterone. It does help in preventing atrophy of the testes so better talk with your doctor about this, if it will benefit your condition. I hope this helps
