Cause of Burning sensation while Ejaculation

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have a burning sensation, everytime i ejaculate, its not painful, and its just slightly uncomfortable. it started two weeks ago. no pain during urination, and no other pain. Can this be a symtom of anything

Dear Allen: Burning sensation during ejaculation can be caused by epididymitis or a sexually transmitted infection. Epididymis is a tube like structure behind the testicles which gets infected with bacteria from the urethra or the bladder. You may have to do a urine analysis and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea if you have risk towards contracting the disease.

Treatment will depend on the infection and may require your partner to be treated alongside if there is evidence of STI.
