Dear Ask The Doctor: I am a 30 year old woman. I have been on large quantity of opiates for almost half of my life. I stopped using Methadone and Heroin and have been taking oxycontin. I stopped using it because I feel this is my last chance at a normal life. I am extremely uncomfortable and even a little suicidal. Can you make any suggestions? I would appreciate help now getting through withdrawal and suggestions on how to deal with the severe anxiety and depression in the future.
