I am allergic to acetaminophen, and I've been slowly recovering from high fevers from the past couple of days, and I want to be more prepared when I get sick again. Dear Alice: Since you are allergic to acetaminophen, then you might want to try using medications that use Ibuprofen as an active ingredient such as the Advil that you are taking at the moment, Naproxen is also another good choice as well as Aspirin if you want to reduce treat possible fever.
